Hilarious video shows why woman 'shouldn't have been employed as a waitress'

A waitress has compiled two years worth of embarrassing moments she faced while working at a restaurant - from tripping over to dropping food.

Katie Quinn, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has been working at a Chinese restaurant for two years, where she serves customers food and drink.

Yesterday she posted a compilation video of all her clumsy moves that had been captured on the venue's CCTV.

She said: "1:43 worth of clumsiness, proving why I shouldn't have been employed as a waitress 2 years ago today."

In one clip, Katie is seen cleaning the tables and heading back towards the kitchen with dirty dishes when she slips and falls to the ground.

On another occasion, she flips a tray full of dimsum off her hand while serving food to the customers.

In a third fail, Katie trips over a wooden chair and struggles to balance as she glides across the floor.

But to her surprise, she manages to save the food and drink - and her colleague even cheers for her great save.

Web users suggested to Katie that she might not equipped with the right work shoes.

One said: "Most employers wouldn't care because the proper footwear should be worn at all times. My job is very strict on this."

Another one joked: "Are your shoes made out of banana peels?"

Web users said she should invest in a pair of non-slip shoes (@_KatieQuinn_13/Twitter)

A third wrote: "Nobody told the girl about non-slip shoes? Jesus"

Some are 'genuinely concerned' over Katie's safety and recommended her to buy the proper footwear.

"You know what this girl needs? Pair of permagrip shoes out of Timpsons. Can't go wrong at £19.99," one commented.
