Hilarious video shows six-year-old Dublin girl demanding to give out to Micheal Martin over looming lockdown

A six-year-old Dublin girl is planning to have some firm words with Taoiseach Micheal Martin over the looming lockdown.

Skye Fay, who turns seven on Friday, is not impressed at the country moving to Level 5 of the Government's Living With Covid plan.

The youngster from Ballybough in Dublin 3 gives her dad Michael a good giggle as she says she wants to go down to the Dail and give the Fianna Fail leader a good talking to.

At one point she blasts: "You can't do this to me. You have to let me out."

When her dad Michael says it's not his doing, but the Government's orders, she plans to make her way to the Dail to tell him what's what.

He tells the spirited little girl that it's not his fault and it was on the news, adding: "Micheal Martin says we're not allowed out."

But she responds by informing him, "That's fake news," before making her demands to be brought to the Dail to have it out with the already embattled Taoiseach.

We don't fancy his chances...

Have a happy birthday Skye!
