Lockdown has forced us all to get creative with our free time and one community in particular has taken it to another level.
Residents of Mossend, Bellshill, threw a street with a difference at the weekend.
Locals filled the street with foam, pelted each other with powder paint and had a live DJ set and a raved-up ceilidh on Saturday night.
A video from the street party shows the locals enjoying a dance in the street - with one even spotted wearing a shower cap.
The unusual event was organised to raise money for YAMS (You Are My Sunshine) with £650 being raised.
Since the beginning of summer, they've managed to raise £3,000 for various charities.
Committee member John Tierney said the events have lifted the spirits of the community and even had the backing of police.
Speaking to Glasgow Live he said: "We've had a few events since lockdown started and they all had social distancing, from bingo to an Ibiza night.
"Everyone in the street takes part and we've ended up meeting people we've never met before. There's kids that come out that don't usually leave their house. We've created our own bubble and helped cure people's boredom.
"The foam party was a big thank you to the neighbours for helping us raise so much money.
"We've had some criticism to do with social distancing but we always stuck to the rules as much as possible.
"The party was finished off my 10.15pm and the street was back to normal by Sunday morning."
The community group, #MLNwood, is hoping to put on a street festival next year to keep the community spirit going.
