Hilarious video shows Junior G hurler's over-excitement in return to action

One hurler was raring to go this weekend as the GAA returned for clubs, blasting opponents with shoulders as he let off four months worth of steam.

The hilarious video showed St. Jude's player Paul Mangan in action against Ballyboden St. Enda's in the Dublin Junior G championship, the county's tenth tier.

Jude's didn't have a good day however, falling to their southside rivals in a 2-24 to 0-06 loss.

But it was Mangan, who owns Camden Street pub Devitt's, who took the plaudits as he floored two Ballyboden men as well as a teammate in action.

Coming charging in with the vicious shoulders, the referee wasn't happy as he blew his whistle awarding a free against the fired-up corner forward.

With the partial re-opening of pubs staying in place until August 10, fans can be assured that they won't get the same treatment as the players on the pitch if they visit his popular pub.
