Hilarious video shows Dublin girl's comedy sketch go down a treat at the Helix theatre

A young girl from Cabra delivered a incredibly funny Holy Communion sketch at the Helix theatre in DCU a few weeks ago.

Emmie O'Neil had never acted before but was encouraged to perform by her dance teacher and what a performance it was!

Eurovision 2019 odds: Netherlands are favourite to win but odds are still dire for UK

Emmie stole the show with the hilarious sketch which was originally written and performed by Martin Higgins and June Rogers.

Emmie's mother told Independent.ie that: "Emmie's stage school teacher, Sonya Johnson from Gotta Dance Stage School, gave me the sketch in January and asked me what did I think of it for Emmie.

"I seriously had my reservations because she's never done any acting, just dancing and singing.

"Myself and Philip couldn't get over her show in the helix, she got such an amazing reaction from the crowd. She had them in the palm of her hands and she loved every minute of it."

Emmie is making her Communion this Sunday and is extremely excited. Her family are extremely proud of her.
