A new YouTube video editing Donald Trump’s words to the tune of Iron Maiden’s “Run To The Hills” has been released.
The video is the latest in the Metal Trump series, which sees YouTuber Lars von Retriever edit audio clips from Trump’s speeches over the music of metal songs.
In the most recent video, the president performs “Run To The Hills”, a song about European settlers colonising lands inhabited by Indigenous Americans.
The Iron Maiden song was originally released in 1982 on album The Number of the Beast, and is often listed as one of the greatest metal tracks of all time.
Other songs covered in the Metal Trump series have included Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing In The Name”, AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”.
Last week, Trump was issued a cease and desist notice by rock band Linkin Park over use of a cover version of their song “In The End” in a Twitter campaign video.
The video was pulled by Twitter following a copyright complaint from the group. It was replaced by a notice from White House social media director Dan Scavino, reading: “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”
