There was a major dilemma facing many viewers wanting to watch both the England game and Love Island on Wednesday night.
ITV2 held back the start of its 9pm dating show for an hour so fans could roar on England's clash with Denmark in the Euro 2020 semi-final.
But as 10pm approached the two teams were level with the score standing at 1-1.

"All England had to do was win in normal time so we could all watch #LoveIsland in peace but nah FFS," cursed one viewer on Twitter.
"Come on England hurry this up and win #loveisland is about to come on," huffed another.
"England you was supposed to win this in 90 minutes so I could watch #LoveIsland" grumbled another fan.
"CAN YOU JUST SCORE PLEASE ENGLAND I WANT TO WATCH LOVE ISLAND AT TEN" another supporter shouted in frustration.
It was clear that viewers now had to choose between the action on ITV and ITV2.
"Now y'all have to choose between #LoveIsland and #England Enjoy!" pointed out one.
Then at 104 minutes in team captain Harry Kane scored the rebound goal that sent the Three Lions to their first Euro final and their first tournament final since 1966.

"My flat mates are gonna kill me because I changed the channel when England scored #loveisland," said one Love Island fan.
"I’m watching both the England match and love island this ain’t working out too well," confessed another.
"Ok but England just scored by the way #loveisland," another tweeter told Team Love Island.
The race was then on to keep up with the action on both channels as newcomers Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford were wooed by the boys over dinner in the TV villa.
"Footy on big screen, love island on laptop WHAT A DAY CMONNN," cheered one fan.
And thankfully England went on to win 2-1.
"England actually doing well AND Hugo was picked twice, couldn’t get any better," said another tweeter.
