Hilarious photo of 'throne fit for a king' at bus stop in North Dublin leaves community in stitches

A hilarious photo of a "throne fit for a king" at a bus stop in North Dublin has left a community in stitches.

Northside Sinn Fein councillor Larry O'Toole shared the photo of the admittedly comfortable looking chair placed at a bus stop in Darndale with a tongue-in-cheek caption.

He joked: "Only in Darndale would you get a comfie seat like this while you wait for the bus, not like those plastic seats Dublin bus provide in the poorer areas of the city".

And entertained constituents offered their own takes on the throne.

One tired lad said: "Just the job after walking half a mile to the bus stop!"

Another laughed: "After bringing the chair to the bus stop I’ve to walk all the way home again because I forgot my bleedin' mask!"

While a third may have come up with Larry's next campaign slogan, saying: "Vote O'Toole. He'll get you a stool!"
