Hilarious moment Tipping Point contestant mixes up Jeremy Corbyn with Barack Obama

Viewers tuning into tonight's instalment of Tipping Point couldn't believe it when one contestant gave a confusing answer.

During Tuesday's episode, hopeful Jordan went up against fellow contestants Richard and Chris in a bid to win some cash.

Host Ben Shephard added 30 seconds to the clock when it was Jordan's turn to do the quick-fire question round.

After a solid start, things got a little shaky when Ben asked: "US politician Joe Biden served two terms as Vice President under which leader?"

Visibly unsure, Jordan quickly blurted out: "Jeremy Corbyn" - which you can watch in the video above.

Trying not to laugh, Ben later said: "Well you found a politician at least," after revealing that the correct answer was Barack Obama.

"I'm pleased with that, that is a result." Jordan joked back.

Viewers took to social media to react to the hilarious mix-up, with many left gobsmacked.

One tweeted: "Joe Biden served two terms as vice President to which US President? Jeremy Corbyn."

With a GIF of Jeremy Corbyn saying "it's true", a second posted: "US President Jeremy Corbyn #tippingpoint."

A third quipped: "#tippingpoint Joe Biden served two terms as Vice President under which leader - answer given Jeremy Corbyn."

Claire Thompson wrote: "#tippingpoint Joe Biden served 2 terms as vice president under which president? Silly contestant guessed Jeremy Corbyn!"

"Jeremy Corbyn was a President of the United States?! #TippingPoint" Another joked.

Simo added: "Jeremy Corbyn US president. Enough said.#tippingpoint"

Richard Armstrong asked: "Jeremy Corbyn??? How do these people get dressed in the morning? #tippingpoint."

Someone else wrote: "Not this lady confusing Obama and Jeremy Corbyn."

"Jeremy Corbyn? I have no words #TippingPoint." RollTideUK said.

Another tweeted: "WHAT? JEREMY CORBYN SERVED AS US PRESIDENT? #tippingpoint."

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV
