Hilarious Mason Mount high on anaesthetics clip after dentist trip branded 'best video of 2021'

Chelsea superstar Mason Mount has shared a hilarious video online that shows him high on anaesthetics after having his wisdom teeth removed.

Mount, 22, had been struggling with the dental problem in recent weeks, missing two matches for the Blues before returning against Burnley last weekend.

This week's international break provided the perfect opportunity for the England ace to have surgery on the troublesome teeth - and footage of his trip home from the dentist has gone viral on social media, as the Daily Star reports.

While still clearly feeling the effects of the anaesthetics, Mount first labelled his wisdom teeth "GOATS" before admitting he can't feel his face.

The youngster, who appeared to be filmed in the car by his parents, was then asked what he thinks he looks like after the operation.

"I feel like... I feel as good as ever," he replied. "I still look as good as ever."

Mount then continued: "If I got punched in the face right now I wouldn't even feel it."

When his mum offers to punch him, the Chelsea academy graduate first agrees before quickly correcting himself and saying: "No no no!"

He then concludes by claiming to be "half human half great white... by the size of these gnashers", while also joking that he should charity his wisdom teeth off because "people would pay big money for them".

The clip of Mount in high spirits on his way back from the dentist has left fans in stitches online, with one writing on Twitter: "Nah this has done me in. Mason Mount on painkillers is the video of 2021".

Another commented: "I laughed for about 5 minutes straight".

While a third posted: "Can't stop laughing man he's so funny".

Mount was still named in Gareth Southgate's England squad despite his dental surgery, but it is unclear whether he will play a part in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and San Marino.

Friday's clash with Albania could come too soon for him, but Monday's trip to San Marino is a more realistic target for Southgate to set.
