This adorable black Labrador photobombed a family picture with the perfect pose - even fondly putting his paw around his owner and sticking his tongue out at the camera just like a human.
Helen Mara was visiting a pub with her partner Kevin and her sister Julie, 54, in Yeovil, Somerset, taking two-year-old Maverick along for the trip.
The 51-year-old happily sipped her wine while posing for a picture with Kevin, 54, but just before the snap was taken, cheeky Maverick propped his arm over his 'dad', sticking his tongue out as if smiling next to them.
Paramedic Helen claims the 'perfect family photo' will now be printed on a canvas to hang up proudly at home, with entertained social media users branding it the 'best photobomb they've ever seen'.
Helen, from Evercreech, Somerset, said: "He is Maverick by name, maverick by nature.
"It was a perfect family photo. It's hilarious. He was licking his dad and it was a sheer fluke.
"It's funny how he's got his arm around Kevin. He was photobombing the picture.
"He's always getting up to mischief. Mad Mav is his nickname. He's well-known in the village.
"I'm going to get the photo printed and frame it or put it on a canvas."
Helen has now shared the snap on her work's Facebook page to make its followers laugh.
Helen said: "It was my first catch-up with my sister, we went to the pub and her partner was taking a picture. It was the first time we'd all been out since the second lockdown.
"It was the perfect evening. My sister's partner said 'let's get a photo of you and Kev'.
"Mav just photobombed us. He jumped up.
"I've shared it with all my friends. I'm in the ambulance service and I shared it on our Facebook page. It gives everyone a giggle.
"I put it on a Facebook group and it's surprised me. It's had well over 1,000 likes and there's over 90 comments saying it's the best photobomb they've ever seen."
