Here is the moment that a dog was spotted strutting down a Dublin street sporting a new kind and fitting type of muzzle during a global pandemic.
The health-conscious and cautious canine was caught on camera wiggling its way down Maryland leading its owner on a brisk but safe walk yesterday.
Clondalkin man Darragh Ward thought he was hallucinating and had to do a double-take at the pup in the passenger seat while he and a work colleague passed by.
Darragh told Dublin Live: "We had to do a u-turn to make sure we weren't imaging it.
"I didn't get the chance to chat to the dog's owner."
Darragh has witnessed firsthand the influence this deadly pandemic has had on the whole of Ireland as he works closely with the HSE.

He added: "Luckily, we have been kept busy throughout the pandemic.
"The company I work for ABC Services - a leading supplier of bar and catering food services in Ireland - do a lot of work for the HSE.
"But I can't wait to be able to go out for a nice meal again and comfortably enjoy a few drinks."
