Hilarious Brexit post-it note battle breaks out in Edinburgh's Cowgate

As the end of October looms, some us may be thinking about what to dress up as for Halloween. However, the rest of the country only has one thing on their mind...and, of course, that's Brexit.

If you've been watching the TV, you will know Boris Johnson has been off trying to wangle a new deal in Brussels and convince his opposition to approve what he's brought to the table or face a no-deal Brexit

He may have been forced to send a letter to the EU asking for a new delay but the deadline is fast approaching, with just ten days left to go before 31 October.

And it seems tensions have reached boiling point in Edinburgh, where a post-it note battle has erupted between two neighbours in the Cowgate - and they pretty much sum up the two Brexit camps.

One sign says "let's get Brexit done", meanwhile a neighbour has decided to make their feelings known and has put a sign in their window pointing towards the pro-Brexit message, which simply reads "naw".

A photo of the signs were shared to social media by Alan Ferrier, he said: "Political discord on the Cowgate."

One user commented that this could actually be work of students, writing that the building may is Edinburgh University halls.

Another person said: "That's very civilised. They're not breaking each other's windows."

Elsewhere another added: "Discord at its very finest."

Whether we'll still be laughing by the 31st October remains to be seen.
