Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria Baldwin has told fans she has suffered a miscarriage at four months into her pregnancy.
Hilaria shared the news on Monday on her Instagram account with a video of herself telling six-year-old daughter Carmen what had happened.
“We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at four months" she wrote, "We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be. We are so lucky to have our 4 healthy babies - and we will never lose sight of this."
"I'm really devastated right now" she added, "I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today."
Hilaria also shared an Instagram video of her bump, writing “Today didn't go as planned. I'm very sad. Tonight is my last night with her... such a strange experience.”
The news follows Hilaria's revelation in September that she was expecting her fifth child. She previously suffered a pregnancy loss in April.
Earlier on Monday Hilaria had shared a shot of her bump with news that she was heading to her scan.
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have been married since 2012.
