Bristol City Women have tied down their highly-rated goalkeeper to a new contract.
Sophie Baggaley has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with the club.
The 22-year-old stopper has enjoyed an excellent season that resulted in her landing three awards at the end of the campaign.
She was named in the PFA Team of the Year, won Supporters' Player of the Year and was given the top accolade of Women's Super League Players' Player of the Year.
The new deal keeps her at Ashton Gate until 2021.
Baggaley said: "As a team we’ve had a great season and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
“Tanya is a really good manager to play under, she tells you exactly what she wants and people respect that, and I think that has shown on the pitch. I’ve had such a good time here over the last couple of years and it is right I stay here even longer.
“I’m really excited about the direction the club is moving in, Bristol City is really kicking on to the next level and is definitely the right place for me to develop.”
While the current campaign has drawn to a close, Baggaley says she can't wait to get back to action in 2019/20.
She added: “The fans have been great this season, we have such strong support home and away and I can’t wait to get back out on the pitch and show them what we can do in the coming season.
“We need to build on what we’ve achieved this season. We want to go one step higher, move up the table and really compete at the top end.”
