HIGHLIGHTS: QB Russell Wilson at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine

The NFL’s annual National Scouting Combine kicks off this week and the best college players from the around the country will convene in Indianapolis to showcase their skills in front of coaches, general managers and scouts from around the league.

In the spring of 2012, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was just one of the hundreds of hopefuls at Lucas Oil Stadium.

“Wilson’s height will be his biggest inhibitor at the next level and the largest reason for his late-round value,” Wilson’s NFL.com draft profile read. “It remains to be seen if he can throw effectively from the pocket at the next level.”

Seattle selected Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft with the 75th overall pick. He was named the starter his rookie season and since then, Wilson has led the team to two Super Bowls, made six Pro Bowl appearances and set numerous franchise records.

Here’s a look back at Wilson’s 2012 Combine highlights.
