The large tree - located at Paisley Cross - was completely blown over by gusts that started late last night following a previous weather warning from the Met Office.

Parts of Scotland were hit with gales as high as 80mph and 90mph, with central Scotland also feeling the effects of the high winds.
The large Christmas tree, which is one of many on display in the town, has now been cordoned off by Renfrewshire Council after toppling during the night.
It's understood the tree also caused some minor damage to stonework on buildings in Dunn Square.
It's not known yet if the tree will be replaced.
Renfrewshire Council has been contacted for comment.
