
Richard Glanville, 60, was arrested at his Essex farmhouse last month after Ricci Gallagher, was found there with head injuries.
Prince William working for the East Anglia Air ambulance has helped airlift Mr. Gallagher to Royal London hospital. However, the 46-year-old died on the 6th of August and an inquest into his death was opened last week.
Ricci Gallagher, who had been living in a woodland shack close to Mr. Glanville’s farmhouse, is alleged to have broken into his house after a fire broke out at his own property.
Two suspects understood to be Mr. Glanville and another 53-year-old men were arrested on the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. They have since been released on police bail until next month.
Mr. Glanville worked for Aurora fashions, a holding company which owned Oasis, Coast, Warehouse and Karen Millen until 2013.
An inquest into Mr. Gallagher’s death was opened on the 12th of August.
