High street banks offer cash incentives to new customers

• Lloyds Bank is introducing a new £200 cash incentive for customers who switch their current account.
• The offer, which launches on 16 September, is currently the highest switch bonus available in the market.
• To qualify, customers must use the Current Account Switch Service, maintain at least three active direct debits, and open a specific Club Lloyds or Premier account.
• Conditions for the bonus include not having received a switch incentive from Lloyds, Halifax, or Bank of Scotland since April 2020.
• Additional perks include a choice of benefits such as a Disney Plus subscription or cinema tickets, and access to a savings account with a 6.25 per cent interest rate.
