High-speed Edinburgh police chase results in cops crashing into a garden wall

A police car has collided with another vehicle and a garden wall this afternoon following a pursuit through the capital.

Cops say a vehicle refused to stop on London Road today at around 3.45 pm, resulting in police chasing the vehicle through the city.

The police car then collided with another vehicle which is understood to be a blue Honda Civic, before smashing into a property wall on Marionville Avenue, Edinburgh.

An eyewitness told Edinburgh Live: "As far as I know the police were chasing a car.

"They both collided and the police car went through the wall.

"The blue car's lights were all smashed and hanging off, I was there when they hit it."
