High school star Chet Holmgren crossed over Steph Curry in a camp game

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry held his SC30 Select Camp in the Bay Area this week, which brought some of the top high school prospects to learn from the two-time MVP.

As he’s done in past years of the camp, Curry has been known to jump in and participate in the camp scrimmages. And, predictably, he put on a show.

But at least one high school star will leave the camp with some ultimate bragging rights.

Chet Holmgren, a 7-foot junior from Minneapolis, found himself in an isolation opportunity against Curry, and he didn’t hesitate to throw a some nifty dribbles at the Warriors star and drive by him for a dunk.

Sure, Curry has never been known as an elite defender (and found himself with a considerable size disadvantage), but he’s still Steph Curry.

Holmgren, who is regarded as a top-10 prospect in his class and considering Minnesota, Purdue and Texas, will always be able to say that he crossed over Steph Curry.

It doesn’t get much more epic than that for a 16-year-old.
