The 2023 Fall Season has come to an end for high school esports teams, with the championship matchups wrapping up competition on the PlayVS platform.
State titles for the growing sport have been officially recognized by the NFHS Network and state associations, creating even more awareness for the teams across North America.
With that in mind, here is the “Hearthstone” champion and runner-up in each region.
Central Region
Champion: North Rock Creek (Okla.) – Team: North Rock Creek Hearthstone (Alpha)
Runner-up: Westside High School (Neb.) – Team: Westside Hearthstone 1
Eastern Region
Champion: Advanced Technology Center (Va.) – Team: ATC The Card Handlers
Runner-up: Cortland Junior-Senior High School (N.Y.) – Cortland Purple Tigers II: Arcade Remix Hyper EX + α Edition
Mountain Region
Champion: Las Cruces High School (N.M.) – Team: LCHS Hearthstone Varsity
Runner-up: Regis Jesuit High School (Colo.) – Team: RJ Magis
