Rangers are interested in signing Frosinone's Fares Ghedjemis, with the 23-year-old striker a "top target" for manager Derek McInnes, according to a new report.

Ghedjemis, who was born in France, scored 15 goals last season to help Frosinone secure promotion to Serie A. He also featured in the World Cup.

The attacker caught the attention of several clubs, but Rangers are reportedly one of the favourites to sign him, according to Sky Sports.

Celtic tried to sign Ghedjemis during the last winter transfer window but failed. Per the report, Rangers are now keen to bring him to Ibrox.
