The high cost of living affecting their livelihood is on top the 10 issues the people are most concerned about, according to the result of a survey by Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, or Suan Dusit Poll.
The poll was conducted on Feb 6-10 on 1,273 people throughout the country.
Asked to name issues they are most concerned about, most of them, 78.32%, mentioned the high cost of living affecting their livelihood.
This was followed by 69.05% on the current slump in trade and investment; 66.46% on road accidents and traffic problems; 63.45% on political conflicts, particularly uncertainty over the election; 63.08% on health problems; 61.67% on their occupations and sources of income; 45.17% on environmental problems; 43.12% on the quality of Thai education; 42.81% on the double-standards of law enforcement; and, 40.93% on morality problems of people in society.
