Hideo Kojima debuts Figma male Sam Porter Bridges

On his Twitter account, game director/auteur/movie enjoyer Hideo Kojima has posted some pictures of a new poseable model of Sam Bridges, star of Death Stranding. It’s of the Figma line of models, a popular set that often have game characters due to their ease of swapping different equipment and clothes.

As well as a good excuse to post the phrase ‘Figma male’, it’s the first time we’ve seen the model, box-and-all, since pre-orders were originally available last year. It’s supposedly getting shipped out this month, if you grabbed one. No doubt they’ll also be available from various stores and websites once they get their stock in, though you can’t currently pre-order.

This comes just a week after actor for Sam Bridges, Norman Reedus, confirmed that a sequel to Death Stranding was in development. Kojima’s response to that was staged photos of him threatening Reedus with a barb-wire baseball bat, but he doesn’t seem too mad about it.
