Hibs’ reward for their Saturday evening victory over Apollon Ladies is a glamour draw against Inter Milan while Glasgow City have been paired with Irish side Athlone Town in the newly created Women’s Europa Cup.
Given the UEFA restrictions around the game, Hibs will play the home tie at Easter Road with Grant Scott confident that the Leith support will turn out to offer their backing to his side.

“There is so much positivity around the club as a whole. The home leg is going to played at Easter Road and this group deserves to be playing that game in front of a good crowd.

“The confidence is building and relations between the players are getting stronger,” she said. “I said to the players after the game that I am proud of how strong the team is getting and we need to build on that.

“I was very pleased with many things – how we attacked, how well we defended and every time we lost the ball we were trying to win it back.
“We made changes and put players in different positions and everyone knew what to do and what their role was so I am very pleased.
“We are moving forward every week.
“But we aren’t happy, we want to keep going and keep getting better. We showed that in the second-half where we kept going and wanted more.
“We are playing to everyone’s strengths. They are executing the ideas really well.”
