Hibs weigh up loan for Lyndon Dykes amid Elie Youan interest

Hibernian are weighing up a loan move for Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes in the final days of the window.

Elie Youan is drawing interest after struggling to secure game time under David Gray and has recently been linked with a move to Europa Conference League opponents Legia Warsaw.

And, despite competition from other clubs, Hibs could still look to add 29-year-old Birmingham City striker Dykes to their array of attacking options.

Gray has already pulled off a move for one Scotland international by signing central defender Grant Hanley this summer and shattered their transfer record to pay £1million for striker Thibault Klidje.

Recalled to Steve Clarke’s international squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Denmark and Belarus in place of Bristol City’s Tommy Conway Dykes’ chances of starting at Birmingham have been cast into doubt by the signing of former Werder Bremen striker Marvin Ducksch on a three year deal.

Dykes last played in Scottish football for Livingston, sealing a £2million move to Queens Park Rangers before joining Birmingham 12 months ago.
