Hibs v Livingston lineup revealed as late change forces Ofir Marciano out of starting XI

Hibernian boss Jack Ross has named his team to face Livingston at Easter Road as the men in green and white look to bounce back from defeat to Ross County in the final game of 2020.

The Leith outfit missed the chance to end the year third in the Scottish Premiership following a 2-0 defeat to former manager John Hughes' struggling side.

And they face a tougher task this afternoon as the in-form Lions arrive in the Capital without tasting defeat since David Martindale took over the managerial reins from Gary Holt.

Ross was initially able to welcome back a few of his injured stars with Ofir Marciano and Stevie Mallan in from the start and Jamie Murphy among the substitutes.

However, the Hibees suffered another injury blow when the Israeli international limped up out of the warm up to be replaced by Dillon Barnes.

It means there are three changes from the side that fell to defeat against the Staggies.

Hibernian XI: Barnes, P. McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon (C), Stevenson, Gogic, Boyle, Newell, Mallan, Doidge, Nisbet.

Subs: Samson, Gray, McGregor, Doig, Hallberg, S. McGinn, Wright, Murphy, Gullan

The visitors have won their last six games in all competitions under new boss David Martindale, booking a place in the Betfred Cup semi-finals in the process.

Livingston XI: Stryjek, Brown, Ambrose, Guthrie, Devlin, Bartley, Holt, Sibbald, Pitman, Mullin, Robertson

Subs: McCrorie, McMillan, Serrano, Pignatiello, Taylor-Sinclair, Lawson, Forrest, Emmanuel-Thomas
