Hibs v Alloa: Who should start Hibees' first home game of the season?

Hibs will play in front of their own fans for the first time since the final day defeat to Aberdeen back in May.

Peter Grant's Alloa are the visitors for the Hibees' second Betfred Cup group fixture of the season.

A bonus point against Stirling Albion at Forthbank last week did little to ease the frustrations of the Hibs fans, who weren't pleased with how their team performed during the 1-1 draw.

They should be a different prospect at Easter Road however. There will also be an extra air of anticipation as the majority of fans get to see some of the new additions for the first time.

Chris Doidge is likely to lead the line and with David Gray being carefully monitored, Tom James could play a right back in his place after filling in on the other side last week.

Chris Maxwell played in goals last weekend although Paul Heckingbottom may wish to rotate between the sticks to give Ofir Marciano some minutes.

Latest signing Josh Vela won't be involved having not long arrived and needs more training over the weeeknd.
