Hibs unveil 90s inspired new strips as club's community foundation made title sponsor

Hibs have unveiled their home and away strips for the 2019/20 season.

Stars from both the the mens and ladies sides showed off the new kits - with the club's community foundation becoming title sponsors.

The kits earned a thumbs-up from supporters with the 90s inspired away look being singled out for praise, which is similar to the strip from the 85/96 season.

Hibs boss Paul Heckingbottom will be hoping his side are dressed to impress as he targets a successful campaign during his first full season in charge.

Chief executive Leeann Dempster admits she's delighted with the new agreement which will see charity begin at home.

She said: “We had the opportunity to talk to the Hibernian Community Foundation and really bring them into the fold, closer to the club and everything associated with that.

“We really want to celebrate their vibrancy within the community.

“The more we started to talk about it, the more appealing it became to have the Hibernian Community Foundation on the front of the shirt.

“That allows us to engage with different people and promote what the guys there do in a different way.

“They’re a massively important part of the community at Hibernian and we want to talk about them more.”
