Scottish Cup finalists Hibs will take on Arsenal in a glamour pre-season friendly which the club hope fans will be able to attend.
The Easter Road clash on July 13 will kick-off a pre-season training camp in Scotland for the Londoners as Kieran Tierney and the rest of the Gunners superstars looks for a better season.
Arteta's troops are set to miss out on European football for the first time in 25 years and the Spaniard needs to improve on that next season.
It could be a homecoming for fans of Jack Ross' Hibees as it's set to be the first time supporters can enter the club's Leith home since March 2020.
And they could have the Scottish Cup to celebrate by then, with this weekend's final against St Johnstone taking place behind closed doors at Hampden.
Four days after taking on the capital club Arsenal then head to Ibrox to face champions and Arteta's former club Rangers.
The Spaniard said: "We’re pleased to confirm our second game in Scotland as part of a week-long training camp that will help us prepare for the 2021/22 season.
"The matches against Hibs and Rangers will be good tests for us and we’re looking forward to playing against two strong opponents.
"Pre-season is an important time for the squad and we’re delighted to have this organised early so we can get the most out of the two matches and the training camp."

Hibs chief Greg McEwan added: “We are delighted to play host to Arsenal Football Club in July in what should be a fantastic glamour friendly for the club and one that we hope will see the return of fans to Easter Road as well.
“We have secured our return to European football and matches like these should give us a great taste of what is to come throughout the 2021/22 season.”
