Hibs to host free stadium open day as part of 2019 Leith Festival

The final day of the Leith Festival arrives on Sunday, but Hibs are getting involved by throwing their doors open.

The Hibs Historical Trust will once again put on a stadium open day to mark the last day of the festival, giving fans a unique chance to see behind the scenes at Easter Road.

The tours are self-guided, and allow visitors the chance to explore many areas of the stadium, including the boardroom, players lounge and home and away dressing rooms.

There will be opportunities for photographs at the side of the pitch, but the club asks that fans please stay off the pitch, as it is still under preparation for the 2019/20 Scottish Premiership season.

The tour continues behind the East Stand and concludes on the concourse of the Famous Five Stand.

There is also a kids zone that will offer various activities while the SWPL and Scottish Cup trophies won by Hibs ladies will also be on display.

Doors open at 1pm and tours begin from stair 2 of the West Stand. Admission is free and tours will end at 5pm.

There is no need to book with fans encouraged to turn up on the day.
