Hibs team v Stirling Albion: Who should start at Forthbank?

Paul Heckingbottom is delighted to get the competitive action underway after three friendly matches so far.

The Hibs boss has made no secret of his dislike of the non-competitive matches and is relieved to have something to play for at Forthbank tomorrow.

He plans to use the Betfred Cup group stages to give as much of his squad the required game time as possible ahead of the league beginning at the start of August.

The middle of the park is an area that Heckingbottom wants to strengthen, but youngster Josh Campbell has impressed so far this summer and netted a late winner against Carlisle on Tuesday night.

Up front, Chris Doidge, Flo Kamberi and Oli Shaw have all been rotated, while Martin Boyle is back in the fold after six months out with a knee injury.

Tom James' versatility could see him make his competitive debut, while it remains to be seen who of David Gray, Steven Whittaker and Lewis Stevenson will make the trip.
