Hibs team v Livingston predicted as injury doubts give Jack Ross decisions to make

There are a couple of injury doubts for Hibs ahead of their game against Livingston on Saturday.

Jack Ross ’ team can ensure they go into the international break top of the Premiership with a win at Easter Road after dropping their first points of the season away to Dundee last week.

But the manager has some selection decisions to make.

Paul McGinn will feature after coming off at Dens Park feeling unwell, but the right back should be fine to start against the Lions.

Paul Hanlon remains a doubt after suffering a head injury though. The club captain missed games against Rijeka and Dundee and may have to sit out once again.

The experienced Darren McGregor will continue in the heart of defence alongside Ryan Porteous if that is the case.

In midfield, Joe Newell ’s chances were rated as 50/50 by Ross. He is recovering from a stomach injury and was another who was missing at Dens last weekend.

Jake Doyle-Hayes and Alex Gogic will be favourites to anchor the midfield once again in his absence.

Up front, Christian Doidge won’t be seen until Christmas at the earliest so new man James Scott is it to be handed another start in green and white.

Predicted Hibs team: Macey, McGinn, Porteous, McGregor, Doig, Gogic, Doyle-Hayes, Magennis, Murphy, Boyle, Scott.
