Hibs team news v Ross County as Jack Ross makes attacking change for Premiership clash

Jack Ross has named his team for Hibernian's Scottish Premiership clash at Ross County - and there is an attacking change to the starting XI.

The Easter Road side have hit a bump in the road as they drive towards European football at the end of the campaign following defeats to both Motherwell and St Johnstone in recent weeks.

Stormy Darcy made the journey to Dingwall impossible last month when the men in green and white were in the midst of a four-game winning run, however they now face the prospect of reversing their slide in form or risk being caught by challengers Aberdeen.

The Dons own stuttering form means Hibs retain a three point lead over the Pittodrie side, with this game in hand an opportunity to move further ahead.

But John Hughes has already claimed the upper hand against his former club once this season when The Staggies rocked up in Leith and left with all three points in a commanding 2-0 win.

The Highlands has long been a difficult trip for those of a Capital persuasion, with Hibs winning just one of their last five visits to the Global Energy Stadium.

Ross makes one change to the line up, with Christian Doidge coming in from the start in place of Kevin Nisbet, who is relegated to the bench.

Ross County XI: Laidlaw, Hjelde, McKay, Watson, Iacovitti, Lakin, Spittal, Tillson, Naismith, Donaldson, White

Subs: Hilton, Draper, Gardyne, Shaw, Vigurs, Hylton, Charles-Cook, Kelly, Paton

Hibernian XI: Marciano, P. McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon (C), Doig, Irvine, Gogic, Newell, Cadden, Doidge, Boyle

Subs: Macey, Gray, McGregor, Stevenson, Hallberg, Allan, Wright, Magennis, Nisbet

Referee: John Beaton
