Hibs team news v Queen of the South as Jack Ross makes big 'keeper call

The Hibs team charged with reaching the next round of the Scottish Cup has been confirmed.

Jack Ross ' men can set up a fourth round meeting with Stranraer by beating Queen of the South at Palmerston tonight.

And the easter Road boss has made a big goal in goal by dropping Ofir Marciano for Matt Macey.

The Israeli has confirmed he will leave in the club in the summer when his contract expires and admitted he'd love to do so with a Scottish Cup winners medal in his pocket.

But he's not in the squad with Macey between the sticks and youngster Kevin Dabrowski on the bench.

That's the only change from the 1-1 draw at Livingston prior to the international break, with Scotland debutant Kevin Nisbet partnering Christian Doidge up front.

Consistency of selection has served the Hibees well this season, who are on course to finish third and qualify for Europe, although a cup run alongside that could turn a good season into a great one.

They'll have to get the job done in Dumfries tonight however - a ground where they've come a cropper before.

Hibs: Macey, McGinn, Hanlon, Porteous, Boyce, Doig, Gogic, Newell, Irvine, Nisbet, Doidge.

Subs: Dabrowski, Gray, McGregor, Stevenson, Cadden, Wright, Magennis, Hallberg, Bradley.
