Hibs team news v Livingston as Jack Ross restores Kevin Nisbet to Starting XI

Jack Ross has named his team for Hibernian's Scottish Premiership clash at Livingston - and Kevin Nisbet is back in the starting XI.

The Easter Road side solidified their claim on third last weekend by coming from behind to claim three points at Ross County courtesy of Kevin Nisbet's return to goalscoring form.

It leaves Hibs in pole position to make a run at the tag of 'best of the rest' with a six-point gap opened up to Aberdeen, but the possibility of extending that lead further is not the only carrot on offer for the men in green and white this afternoon.

Victory in the Highlands made it ten on the road for Ross's side this season, equalling the record set by the Famous Five more than 70 years ago.

Another win away from home would shatter that record, but David Martindale's Lions secured a much needed first win in seven last week by easing past Hamilton Accies.

Both sides are assured of their top six places heading into the final pre-split fixture of the campaign.

Nisbet announced himself on the top flight stage when Hibs visited West Lothian earlier in the season and Ross has rewarded his goalscoring return with a place in the starting XI.

Chris Cadden drops out to accommodate the forward, with the wing back listed among the subs.

Livingston XI: McCrorie, Devlin, Fitzwater, Guthrie, Longridge, Sibbald, Forrest, Pittman, Bartley (C), Holt, Emmanuel-Thomas

Subs: Stryjek, Kabia, McMillan, Poplatnik, Ambrose, Tiffoney, Serrano, Lawson, Mullin

Hibernian XI: Marciano, P. McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon (C), Doig, Irvine, Gogic, Newell, Boyle, Doidge, Nisbet.

Subs: Macey, Gray, McGregor, Stevenson, Hallberg, Allan, Wright, Magennis, Cadden

Referee: Nick Walsh
