Hibs team news v Aberdeen revealed ahead of vital Premiership clash

Jack Ross has named his Hibs side to face Aberdeen in a vital Premiership showdown.

The Easter Road outfit can clinch third place in the top flight by taking a point from tonight's clash at Pittodrie.

Ross has stuck with a strong side after Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Dundee United.

Weekend goalscorers Kevin Nisbet and Christian Doidge continue up front and Alex Gogic returns from suspension to take his place in the engine room.

The Cyprus international replaces Joe Newell, who starts on the bench in the north east this evening.

At the back Ryan Porteous is on the bench as Darren McGregor comes into the side.

Keeper Ofir Marciano now looks to be out of the picture with Hibs ahead of his impending summer departure as Matt Macey continues in goal and Kevin Dabrowski deputises from the bench.

Hibs: Macey, Hanlon, McGinn, Doidge, Boyle, Gogic, Nisbet, Hallberg, McGregor, Doig, Irvine.

Subs: Dabrowski, Gray, Porteous, Magennis, Wright, Newell, Stevenson, Murphy.
