Belgian midfielder Stephane Omeonga hasn't taken long to immerse himself in Scottish culture following his January loan switch from Genoa to Hibs .
The Easter Road star admitted at the weekend that he fired himself up for the Edinburgh derby with Hearts by watching Braveheart .
Okay the acting and the storyline in Mel Gibson's blockbuster might not be quite on point but Omeonga wasn't caring as he thrust himself head first into a Scottish history lesson - Hollywood style.
The film might be blood and snotters - much like an Edinburgh derby in fact - but Omeonga appears to have been struck by the finer details of the film.
The 23-year-old on-loan Genoa playmaker showed off his classical touch by posting a clip of him playing the Braveheart theme tune on the piano. And we're sure you'd agree - it's pretty good.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's derby, he said: “Braveheart was good, a nice movie. I promised I was going to watch it and I really enjoyed it.
“Like I said in the first interview I did when I came here, I’m a fighter. Being here has given me the opportunity to adapt myself and show how good I am at fighting."
Omeonga won the Leith club's 'Moment of the Season' award at Sunday's Player of the Year bash.
That came for his involvement in the 2-1 win over Hearts at Tynecastle on April 6 - their first derby win in Gorgie for six years.
Stephen Mallan scooped the top award while Ryan Porteous was named Young Player of the Year.
