New Hibs manager Shaun Maloney has been left impressed with Cambuslang's Kevin Nisbet after his goal against Dundee United.
Maloney was appointed as the new Easter Road manager last week and Nisbet scored his first goal under him during the weekend's 3-1 Premiership victory at Tannadice.
Martin Boyle's pass towards goal found the Scotland international, who had the simple task of putting it into the net from all of two yards out.
It takes Nisbet's tally for the season to seven and it was his first strike in six matches.
Maloney says that the forward from Cambuslang has all the tools to become an outstanding number nine, and drop into other positions when he needs to.
Maloney said on Sportsound of Nisbet: "I think he has got every aspect you look for in a nine. Sometimes you have nines that have standout attributes in certain areas, Kevin has a lot.
"He was in the box for the goal but actually the goal starts from him dropping into the 10 position, so really depending on the opponent, he can do so many things.
"He is very, very good, so I look forward to trying to help him improve and hopefully produce performances like that more often."
