Hibs squad revealed as Darren McGregor and David Gray fit to face Rangers

Hibs take on Rangers at Easter Road on Friday knowing that a win will propel them past managerless Kilmarnock into fifth place in the Premiership.

Jack Ross will make a late call on goalkeeper Ofir Marciano after the Israeli was forced to come off during Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Celtic Park with a calf complaint and has not trained since.

Midfielder Joe Newell is Ross' only injury issue and will definitely sit out the evening clash but experienced defenders Darren McGregor and David Gray are both ready to return.

With 31 goals conceded this season, Hibs have had the leakiest defence of the top six sides and will hope that an injection of experience can give their rearguard some added steel.

The men from Leith are much improved under their new boss with three wins, a draw and two defeats from six.

Hibernian provisional squad:

Marciano,

Stevenson,

James,

Gray,

Hanlon,

Hallberg,

Vela,
