Making yourself look old using FaceApp is the latest social media fad to hold people’s attention for a brief period, and we’re not above jumping on the bandwagon here at Edinburgh Live.
Paul Heckingbottom’s squad is relatively young one. Steven Whittaker is the elder statesman at 35, with Darren McGregor a couple of years behind him at 33.
At the other end of the scale, Josh Campbell is the baby of the group at 19, while Ryan Porteous and Fraser Murray are a year ahead of him and just beginning their twenties.
Not that they look fresh-faced after they’ve been given the FaceApp aging treatment.
In fairness to some, they look okay. Darren McGregor’s usually the first called upon for kit modeling duty, and the centre back still looks the part even with gray hair and more lines on the face.
Lewis Stevenson , who it is by now accepted will be at Hibs forever, will apparently look sensational for his age when he’s still at the club in a few decades time. Probably still playing left back.
On the other hand, David Gray’s legendary status will never be diminished, but his appearance will be if his pic is anything to go by.
