Ofir Marciano - 7
Left badly exposed for both goals, but hardly tested other than having to come out and smother at the feet of Devante Cole early on.
Darren McGregor - 6
Caught underneath the ball to allow Tony Watt a chance and out of position for the Motherwell opener, but probably slightly unlucky to be substituted in Jack Ross' triple change.
Paul Hanlon - 4
Struggled with the visitors' high pressing and badly caught out for the first goal in allowing Roberts to run away from him.
Paul McGinn - 4
An uncharacteristically sloppy display from the defender, but a blip in an otherwise good season.
Lewis Stevenson - 5
Couldn't offer the same energy as Josh Doig, but worked hard before being replaced.
Chris Cadden - 6
Probably Hibs' best outfield performer in a side otherwise lacking in creative spark. Runs from deep caused Motherwell a few problems.
Joe Newell - 4
Another player well below par at Easter Road, but still making his way back to full fitness after an injury.
Jackson Irvine - 4
Struggled to get up to speed in the game in what was his poorest display in green and white so far.
Jamie Murphy - 3
Offered very little before being replaced in the second half.
Martin Boyle - 5
Always tried to make things happen, but was brilliantly shackled by Ricki Lamie, Jake Carroll and Nathan McGinley at various points.
Christian Doidge - 4
Had two chances to find the net and should have taken at least one of them.
Subs
Kevin Nisbet - 4
Looked brighter than in recent substitute appearances, but still toiled.
Alex Gogic - 4
Shored up the midfield when he came on, but introduction came too late.
Ryan Porteous - 4
Replaced McGregor, but didn't really have any time to influence the game.
Scott Allan - 4
Tried to make things happen when he came on, but it was too little too late.
