That meant James Maxwell's late strike was of little consequence as Jack Ross' side progressed to the fourth round to face Stranraer.

Joe Newell: Great through ball to cut Queens open for Doidge’s second. 8
Jackson Irvine: Went close to scoring in the second, good energy and got forward well. 7
Kevin Nisbet: Quiet until a nice assist for Boyle’s goal. 7
Christian Doidge: Showed there’s more than one way to finish. Clinical and was a post away from a hat-trick. 9
