Hibs owner Ron Gordon's son 'considered' for key recruitment role in Easter Road shake-up

Ambitious Hibs are reportedly closing in on finalising a major structural shake-up that will secure key arrivals in a revamped recruitment department.

Sporting director Graeme Mathie won't be directly replaced but new faces are incoming as the club look to beef up their signing strategy.

And the Edinburgh Evening News state owner Ron Gordon 's son, Ian, is in line for a role and he has already turned heads as his role as a technical scout, where he was key to securing a deal for USA international Chris Mueller from Orlando City.

Gordon Jr has also lauded for his role securing a partnership between Charleston Battery and Hibs.

Ivan Kepčija - the former Hadjuk Split and Legia Warsaw man - is no longer working with the Easter Road club after coming on board last summer .

Hibs currently sit in third place in the Premiership and Gordon has big plans with Jack Ross in the dugout with Ben Kensell succeeding Leeann Dempster as the club's chief executive.
