Danny Galbraith fancies ‘fearless’ Hibs
The last man to score a winner for Hibs at Celtic Park wouldn’t be surprised if the current crop got a result there this weekend.
Danny Galbraith netted a dramatic late winner the last time the Hibees won in the East End of Glasgow.
And from what he’s seen of Jack Ross’ team so far this season, he thinks they;re well equipped to get something from the Champions this Sunday.
Porteous gets Under 21 call
Ryan Porteous has been called up to Scot Gemmill’s latest Scotland Under 21 squad.
The young Scots take on the Czech Republic at Tynecastle next month before travelling to take on minnows San Marino in their Under 21 Euro Championship qualifiers.
Stay aggressive
Gemmill doesn’t want to see Porteous curb the aggressive side of his game.
The centre back was under fire after the weekend match against Rangers after an incident with Alfredo Morelos, and has fallen foul of refs before for ‘enthusiastic’ challenges, as well as suffering injury.
But rather than telling him to cool it completely, Gemmill wants to see the 21-year-old channel better.
McGinn’s exciting opportunity
Recent signing Stephen McGinn wanted the chance to earn himself an extended deal at St Mirren.
But the circumstances led to him getting an unexpected opportunity at Easter Road, allowing Hibs to complete the hat-trick of signing McGinn brothers.
