Jones wants a job

CIS cup winning captain Rob Jones is keen to get back into full-time football, and hasn’t ruled out returning to Scotland.

The former Easter Road skipper was part of the club’s match day panel showing the weekend defeat to Aberdeen, and talked of his desire to get back to professional coaching.

Jones is currently working as an academy coach for Middlesbrough, but is keen to get back to first team level.

Combe leaves

Goalkeeping coach Alan Combe has left the club.

The former goalkeeping coach has come to agreement with Hibs after six years at Easter Road.

He found himself surplus to requirements after Jack Ross added former St Mirren ‘keeper and Sunderland coach Craig Samson to his coaching staff.

Hibs pay their respects

The club shared their sadness at the passing of former director Martin John O’Neill.

Lord O’Neill of Clackmannan joined the Board in 2004 serving a three year term before stepping down in 2007.
