Hibs lineup vs Rangers revealed as Jack Ross hands Dillon Barnes goalkeeping chance

Hibs boss Jack Ross has named his team to face Rangers.

The Easter Road boss takes his side across the M8 to Ibrox for the lunchtime kick-off and it's a huge game for both sides.

But Hibs will be without Ofir Marciano with Dillon Barnes handed a chance to replace the Israeli, who picked up an injury during Wednesday night's win over St Mirren.

Kevin Nisbet continues up front with Christian Doidge suspended and the striker caused a lot of problems for Rangers last time out, although he didn't score.

There's also a place on the bench for goalkeeping coach Craig Samson who will be acting as cover for Barnes, despite the former St Mirren man not playing a competitive game since leaving Saints back in 2018.

That means Ross is goign with Barnes in goals, and a back four of Paul McGinn, Ryan Porteous, Paul Hanlon and Josh Doig, the midfield sees a trio of Alex Gogic, Joe Newell and Melker Hallberg with Martin Boyle and Drey Wright supporting Kevin Nisbet.

Full team: Barnes, P McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon, Doig, Boyle, Gogic, Newell, Hallberg, Wright, Nisbet

Subs: Samson, Gray, McGregor, Stevenson, S. McGinn, Bradley, Gullan
