Hibs lineup at Hamilton revealed as Jack Ross forced into wide change

Jack Ross has named his team for Hibernian's clash with Hamilton Accies at the Fountain of Youth Stadium.

The Easter Road side can move second in the Scottish Premiership standings with a victory in South Lanarkshire - equalling the record set after 17 games by Alex McLeish's class of 2000/01.

Winger Jamie Murphy misses out through injury after limping out of the Hibees' 3-0 win at Motherwell last weekend, while former Accies midfielder Alex Gogic and defender Sean Mackie remain on the sidelines with their own respective injury concerns.

It has forced Ross into one change from the side that won at Fir Park last week, with Christian Doidge coming in for Murphy.

Meanwhile, Kyle Magennis is back among the substitutes after a period out through injury.

The starting XI is as follows: Marciano, McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon (C), Stevenson, Wright, Hallberg, Newell, Boyle, Doidge, Nisbet

Subs: Barnes, Gray, McGregor, Doig, S. McGinn, Magennis, Mallan, Bradley, Gullan

The hosts claimed their first league win in nine games last week courtesy of their 1-0 home success against Kilmarnock after gaining a surprising three points off the back of St Mirren's enforced coronavirus forfeit.

Six points in the space of a few days lifted Brian Rice's men out of the relegation spots, but they are only a point ahead of Ross County in the play-off position.

Hamilton: Fulton, McMann, Stirling, Easton, S. Martin, Trafford, A. Martin, Moyo, Hodson, Smith, Callachan

Subs: Gourlay, Hamilton, Hughes, Stanger, Mimnaugh, Winter, Munro, Thomas, Owolabi
