Hibs line up v St Mirren revealed as Jack Ross searches for first league home win since October

Jack Ross has named his Hibs team to face St Mirren.

The Easter Road club missed the chance to go second in the table at the weekend after drawing 1-1 with Dundee United and Ross has stuck with the side that were pegged back late on by the Tangerines.

Alex Gogid returned to the bench at the weekend but Melker Hallberg keeps his place in the centre of midfielder alongside Joe Newell.

Kyle Magennis found the target against United and he's in from the start again against the in-form Buddies.

Sean Mackie's injury means Lewis Stevenson continues at left back with teenage Josh Doig providing cover on the bench.

Up front, Kevin Nisbet partners Christian Doidge as both striker look to hit the goal trail again as the hectic festive season gets into full swing.

Jamie Gullan could provide something different off the bench while Drey Wright can come on if Ross wants to push Martin Boyle further forward as the game goes on.

Hibs: Marciano, P McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon, Boyle, Stevenson, Hallberg, Newell, Magennis, Nisbet, Doidge.

Subs: Barnes, Gray, Wight, Gogic, Gullan, McGinn, McGregor, Doig, Bradley.
